Mike's Story

Shortly after receiving his wheelchair Mike suffered a stroke which has made life even more difficult for him and his carers. Even with these difficulties Mike is able to maintain his confidence and respectability finding the wheelchair and equipment a real benefit.

Mike’s powered chair has a left hand, joy stick control which he finds easy to operate, allowing him to manoeuvre around his home.

Mike’s Nephew says: “Mike never went out prior to receiving the wheelchair, now he can be taken out most days. The chair has helped ease pressure off his friends and family.”
