Carl's Story

Carls's Story

Before receiving a wheelchair suitable for his disability, Carl was rarely able to leave his home. Now he uses the equipment every day which helps him get around the local area, with the assistance of devoted friends, family and support workers.

Although unable to fully communicate, Carl’s enjoyment is obvious when being taken out, especially to the local Rugby and Football.

Carl’s Mother and carer, Josie, says: “Carl is totally reliant on support workers and is unable to communicate. Receiving a wheelchair has really changed his life as he can now take an interest in outside activities. He uses his wheelchair everyday and his support workers can take him out with transport or taxi’s. He really enjoys going to rugby, something he couldn’t do before receiving the wheelchair.”
